Grand Union canal - Wendover Arm: Bulbourne to Little Tring turning circle
Day and guest tickets available throughout. There is reasonable pedestrian access along the entire length and some sections can accommodate disabled anglers.
Overhead power cables affect some canal fisheries - observe the No Fishing signs which are placed on either side of each set of cables.
Night fishing is not allowed on any of our of our canal waters.
Entry points are from the main canal at Bulbourne junction (map), Gamnel bridge (map) near Heygates Flour mill and Little Tring bridge (map) (via a flight of steps).
The water takes on the character of a small river and although shallow contains a really good head of quality fish. Roach often fall to seed baits and of course bread punch. Good sport is provided at most times of the day. Roach and perch to well over 1lb and bream going to 4-5lbs are available and all tend to move up and down the arm in shoals. Chub have also taken up residence and are thriving, as well as some large carp, although these provide quite a challenge to land in this small water! Match weights in excess of 10lbs are often recorded along the length.
