Constructing & installing Hedgehogs at Rislip Farm

The Hedgehog fish refuges are now in place in the big lake at Rislip Farm and their positions are marked by floating plastic balls. Stating the obvious maybe, but don't cast too close to them or you'll get snagged.

They arrived on Tuesday so a working party was quickly arranged for Sunday to get them in place a.s.a.p.

Having completed the first (easy !) part of the job, Dave Horlock, Dave Grove, Dick Pilkinton and Tony Beadle take a breather to survey their handiwork. Dave Burton was behind the camera for all the shots.

Thanks for turning up, guys - job well done.

(Could we have more people NOT called Dave on the next working party, please ?)

Dave G and Dave H carefully load a Hedgehog into the boat whilst Tony 'The Oar' waits to burst into action.

"Don't lean over any further, Dave !"

(Happily, he didn't ...)
