Keith Arthur fishes with us at Cooks Wharf

Sky Sports TV & TalkSport radio star Keith had been in contact with TTA PRO Dick Pilkinton for over a year before they finally managed to find a date
for Keith to come over to fish one of our canal venues. Keith and his two-man production team arrived at Cooks Wharf on a mild but breezy morning to find a reception party
comprising several TTA Officers and members waiting to put him "on a flyer". Sadly, Dick wasn't there himself as he was up North on a canal boat holiday ( ! )
Sport was nowhere near as good as it can be at Cooks, not helped by the breeze and the volume of half-term boat traffic, but Keith still managed a respectable
net of mixed fish including a perch around the 2lb mark. Everyone enjoyed his company and the Sky team shot a good amount of quality footage which, barring disasters, will be shown in their
"Tight Lines" programme on Friday 13th November. Keith's report of his day at Cooks will also appear in his Angling Times column next week.
Thanks again to Keith & his team for coming to fish with us. Yes, he DID have a guest ticket, and yes our guys DID catch bigger fish than his, as witnessed by the pics below of Tony Beadle's 1lb 8oz roach and Dave Burton's 2lb 1oz perch. Well done, boys !
