This section holds a large variety of species, although it is renowned for Carp. Roach and Bream should not be ignored. Perch and Chub are also present some could be considered specimen size. Most baits work well and groundbait should be used if targeting Roach and Bream. This venue will produce fish all year round. Please park in an orderly fashion on this popular venue. There is NO fishing allowed opposite Dunstable & district boat club marina (between the white arrows on notices). Although fishing is allowed in the first marina please observe the boater’s privacy and do not cast alongside the boats.

Directions:

Go over the canal bridge and then the road runs between two reservoirs. Turn right at the next round-about, follow road over Canal Bridge through Marsworth and through humps in road. Go up the long hill, down the other side then take the left fork towards Cheddington. Follow the road past the Duke of Wellington pub on the left, through the traffic lights and over the bridge approach.

MARSWORTH LOCK HOUSE TO BRIDGE 130

This section is famous for its Carp fishing; Carp are present in almost every peg together with Roach and large Perch. This is also known as the red lion stretch.

Bridge 130 to bridge 131 Marsworth basin, we are prevented from fishing most of the section due to overhead power cables Bulbourne to Marsh croft lane and Tring station,

Commonly known as the Tring cutting, this section holds some of the best fishing on the canal, especially after the recent dredging work.
This section starts with Bulbourne winding hole which holds a large head of quality fish including large Roach and Bream.
Waggler tactics often pay off here, and also fishing close to the nearside bank, (boats turning in this area can cause some concern to anglers. (so leave enough room for them).
Narrowing down to the cut is a tree lined section that offers some protection from the elements to the angler, but also produces some good catches of Roach & skimmer Bream along its length. Carp and Chub are also in residence but are not as common place here as other sections of the canal. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to fish as boat traffic becomes lighter.

Directions:
From the A41 roundabout head towards Tring town centre,  past Tesco. At the Robin Hood round about turn right. Follow this road past the garden centre and as you drop down towards the canal the fishery is on the right hand side opposite the grand junction arms,. Members are allowed to park towards the rear of  the pub car park, with their current parking card displayed. Alternatively you can park in the lay-by leading to the garden centre; 2 Cars Max!
