This year I have ambitious plans to introduce the juniors to new areas of fishing. For the first time we will be fishing Marsworth Reservoir from the causeway between itself and Startops.

 August 16 I will run a half day session at Wilstone with a BBQ and a raffle in aid of the Iain Rennie Hospice.

To top off the season we will have a half day Session on the River Thame at Shabbington Island. Map and directions Below, for sat nav  the postcode is: HP18 9HJ. For this session we will have Ian Welch a well known angler and writer who recently had an article in the Anglers Mail showing us how to catch on the Thame in flood. Ian has kindly donated his day to assist with the teaching so lets get as many here as possible for the fishing and a BBQ.

This year all junior anglers MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult. Bait and tackle will be supplied for those who need it. Anyone wishing to bring their own tackle/bait are quite welcome to do so. We  suggest you bring some thing to sit on and wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions on the day.

Please ensure that anyone wanting to fish over the age of 12 years has a valid rod licence, which can be obtained from the Post Office and costs £5.00 junior and £25.00 senior. Should any adult want to try the sport we can supply a one off permit for the session, but can only do this once per individual.
