Members are not permitted to make their own on the smaller lake.
With Roach, Rudd, Bream, Perch and Carp available from this venue there
are also some surprises, with large Tench present.
The two lakes are very different the smaller being a Carp lake with just a
few other fish in it, The newer lake is 2.5 acres and has been dug with a
fairly flat bottom.
Stocking of this lake is of silver fish as requested by our members
however the vast majority of fish stocked are over 2lbs, therefore some
good catches are on the cards. Please remember that this is a new fishery
and will need time to develop. Parking is still in the old car park
however disabled anglers are allowed to use the track along the back of
the lake to access the larger lake, However cars are to be returned to the
old car park after unloading, Please respect the complex and give the
landowners the respect they deserve. This lake may be subject to
occasional closure when shoots take place on land surrounding our lakes
(this is for your safety).
Directions:
From Leighton Buzzard head towards Milton Keynes, A4140. Just before The
Three Locks public house turn left at the crossroads Head up the hill and
over the railway bridge then just after this turn left into Rislip farm,
Head straight on towards the old quarry. Unlock the gate if needed and
relock it before going down to the car park. |
